ベトナムに着きました！Safely in Vietnam!

ベトナムに着きました！ We're here in Hanoi! 実はホテルに着くまではちょっと時間かかった。空港に着くと向かいにきてくれる方は誰もいなかった。30分ぐらい待ってから旅行会社に電話した。コミュニケーションのミスがあったみたい。日曜日に着くと思ってしまった。土曜日だったのに。。。30分後ぐらい英語の全く話さない男がやっと見えた。旅行会社にも土曜日のホテル予約も急いでやってくれた。日曜日にから泊まるホテルは土曜日に空き部屋がなかったので土曜日だけはスカイラークホテルにとまり。悪くはなかった。。。When we got to the airport, there was no one to meet us from the travel company. We waited a bit and then called. Apparently they were expecting us on Sunday, not Saturday. They rushed someone out to pick us up and also rushed to make a hotel reservation for Saturday night. Our planned hotel was full so we headed to the Skylark Hotel for one night: no complaints, though...

全く文句はない！一泊42ドルで朝食付き。すごくない？ At $42 per night including breakfast, we were pretty impressed...

We also took a walk to Hoan Kiem Lake ("Lake of the Returned Sword" or "Lake of the Restored Sword") and wandered around the Old Quarter a bit before having an early night.   近くの湖まで歩いてきてから旧市街のあっちこっちを散歩した。疲れていたのでちょっと早めに寝てしまった。
